I have to disagree with you there. Partly (ok, solely) because I don't like Chinese food.

Ah jack in the box...remember them well....they USED to have fried raviolis...then I moved from Idaho and well....there are none around me

When you travel learn to eat where the locals do---it will always always be better than the stuff you can find on your own (less expensive and most likely better quality too). I like to watch the travel channel with that anthony bordain guy---he goes to some of the strangest places in the world, but he tries them and sometimes they are good.
I have traveled in lots of countries...when I was in college I spent 2 summers in sweden, learned to get my breakfast from the hotel (and stuff a few extra rolls in my pocket for lunch) and get some yogurt and a drink from the convenient store....then follow some locals to a good spot for dinner....

When I lived in japan---you can eat there for less if you know what to eat---and that is noodles, ramen, udon....and some of the department stores have food places in the basement---if you get there close to closing you can get some great deals on meals left (they cant store them overnight).
Know where to go and who to follow, and you will eat for less (and not that horrible 'fast food' crap.)

Sorry Blizzard but I don't think Panda Express qualifies as Chinese...maybe not even food. The one near me sucks big time, ptomaine palace kind of thing.
